Add onto that a language barrier, the lack of cerifications, regulatory agencies, non-existent post-op care once you leave, etc, etc, and surgery abroad sounds like a risk not too many people would feel comfortable with.
Even the plastic surgeons agree on this one… Surgery abroad is high-risk.
